Lawrence G. Weiss, PhD

An internationally respected scholar of intellectual assessment, Dr. Weiss has presented widely on intelligence in more than a dozen countries across five continents.  He has authored or co-authored 9 graduate level textbooks about the Wechsler intelligence tests over the past 12 years.  Some of his books have been translated into Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Brazilian Portuguese.  In addition, Dr. Weiss has authored or coauthored 37 research articles about the Wechsler and other psychological tests in peer reviewed professional journals - including two Special Issues devoted to his work.  He was nominated four times for the prestigious Senior Scientist Award given by the American Psychological Association, Division 16.  Finally, he serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment, and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Individual Differences.
